This is very helpful. I'm trying to add a bluetooth receiver in my Haslab Proton pack. The receiver I bought isn't pushing enough sound through the 3 inch Dayton Audio speaker I just installed. Pack sound is great but I would like to figure this problem out.

Is it accurate at all to just buy a calibrated sound monitor and measure my speakers db in my home? Ive seen a few of them on Amazon in the $30 to $80 range. I have a set of JBL L50's which had a replacement woofer put in by a previous owner, and Id just like to know if its higher or lower than the original woofer specs from the factory in 1979. Thanks.

Just buy used speakers in the second hand stores and replace raw speakers them selves cheaper than building and u don't need expensive tools

Hace como 20 años empecé a fabricar crossovers de 3 y 4 vías de 2o orden de manera manual, fabricando también los embobinados con las formulas Butterworth pero desde hace como 5 años empecé con las formulas Linkwitz par obtener una mejor respuesta pero lo que ahora veo con estos softwares me tienen realmente asombrado. About 20 years ago I started manufacturing 3 and 4-way 2nd order crossovers manually, also manufacturing the windings with the Butterworth formulas, but about 5 years ago I started with the Linkwitz formulas to obtain a better response, but what I now see with These softwares have really amazed me. I built a 4 way speaker system. Music is in 4 levels for bass for Body, low mid for Warmth, high mids for Presence, and tweeters for Brilliance. I have 8 ohm speakers, but the Marantz receiver must have 8 ohm impedance. 4 speakers at 8 ohm parallel would be 2 ohms and fry the receiver finals. So, 2 speakers in series is 16 ohm, and another set of two for 16 ohm, when paralleled equal 8 ohms. I put the woofer in series with the tweeter using capacitors and coils to get low frequencies to the 12 inch woofer and highs to the 3.5 inch tweeter. The other set is 8 inch low mid in series with a 5 inch for high mids. I have acoustic suspension cabinets. The sound I get from the speakers is crisp and natural. Orchestra music is the most difficult to replicate, and these speakers sound as close to being there as the $1000+ speaker systems will. Yes, there was a lot of engineering used to calculate everything, starting with free air resonance of each speaker.

I’m 15 and I started out buying a $25 Logitech surround sound system at savers (witch was acually ok) to now wanting a set of $800 Sony speakers (I don’t have 800 to spend on speaker) so I think this might be the way 😂 I’m really good with electronics woodworking really a lot so I don’t think it will be a problem

If the product dimensions on a 6.5 150w marine speaker 7.4 x 7.6 x 7.1 inches what should a plastic dimensions be on plastic ammo box to have both the speakers fit on the front for Bluetooth build ?

Do they not make bluetooth amplifier boards with 500 Watts or more?

Was planning on getting a Sennheiser HD600, but after this video, i will probably get another Hifiman. I love planars and the sound they produce. Bought the HE400se and was really impressed. So will try to get the Arya next. That would be my end game.

Nothing came next week, must of gone bust 😂 shame though, measuring these babies would have seen whether they lived up to the hype. Seems an exceptionally complex design (3 way and all xover components), I stuck to 2 way using higher quality (scanspeak) drivers, boom, solved!
